Antonio Conte joined Spurs in January when the club was 9th on the Premier table. He lead his team to finish 4th for the 2021 premier league season, and claimed Champions League spot ahead of Arsenal and Manchester United.
Sources close to the club have reported that Antonio Conte will stay at Tottenham next season, a decision that has never been doubt.
He will be confirmed Tottenham manager as Fabio Paratici and Daniel Levy are planning for the 2022/23 project. The club has already announced a £150m capital increase for improvements in activities, both on-and-off the pitch.
“The equity injection provides Spurs with greater financial flexibility and the ability to further invest on and off the pitch” – The club statement said.
This additional capital will be a boost for Conte to sign new players. First new signing has already been completed, with Fraser Forster joining on a free transfer from Southampton, as the new backup goalkeeper for Spurs.
Ivan Perisić also among Conte’s targets for next season. But Inter are still waiting for Croatian’s final decision after offering him new contract of €5m plus add-ons per season. It’s up to Perisić now.
Harry Kane to leave Spurs in the summer?
Conte considers Harry Kane a key part of Spur’s project and his decision is to continually influence Harry Kane’s future as he’s in great relationship with the Italian manager.
Tottenham want to extend Harry’s contract in the next months. Just a matter of time.
