Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard has decided to leave the club at the end of June, club statement confirms.
After a successful loan spell at Westham last season, Lingard wanted to try a move to the revived Newcastled but was futile.
With the many changes that has already started at Manchester United, with Erik Ten Hag’s arrival and Ralf Rangnick leaving his job, Lingard has confirmed that he won’t be at Old Trafford next season.
Lingard is now set to assess his options this summer and select where he will play his football from next season. Leicester City has been linked to sign the English man on a free transfer.
