Marcus Rashford is not recommended for signing by Frank McAvennie of Tottenham Hotspur, who says this.
Frank McAvennie, a former striker for West Ham United, has cautioned Tottenham Hotspur against making a transfer for Marcus Rashford. The forward currently plays for Manchester United, but there has been speculation that he could move to Spurs in the near future.
However, in an interview with Football Insider, McAvennie stated that the Spurs have the ability to sign players who are significantly more talented than Rashford.
“He is not on the same level as Kane or Son. It is absolutely necessary for him to part ways with Man United. I really hope that he is able to get his head on straight for his own good. Since the summer of 2021, he has not touched a ball in any capacity. “He is a good player, but maybe he needs a new beginning,” McAvennie said about the player.
“At this point in the season, Man United is the only team that has managed to both be so good and so bad. I don’t know how it’s possible. Perhaps if he joined the Tottenham team’s reserves, he’d have a better chance of succeeding there. But Manchester United will demand an enormous sum of money in order to let him go, and I believe that Tottenham can do better.
