National Lotteries Authority [NLA], CEO Sammy Awuku has announced that his team could end his deal with the Hearts of Oak if he does not finish in the top three of the Ghana Premier League.
To begin the 2021/22 football season, the NLA signed a partnership agreement with the club of 1 million cedis.
However, the phobias who won the home treble last season are bad this season.
In his speech at a ceremony held at the NLA headquarters after visiting Asante Kotoko, Awuku praised the Porcupine Warriors for winning the Premier League.
“The NLA, which will sponsor next season, may not be all the clubs again, but Kotoko has made it, so we will consider sponsoring you,” he said. “We have decided to sponsor a sequel for each team, just like at the end of the season, if you are not part of the top three, you never think about it again.
“Therefore, if you want to continue to enjoy the connection with us, always be among the top three or with the trophy winners,” he added.
The Hearts of Oak are fifth in the league with 48 points and are likely to miss the top four in their final matches of the season against RTU at Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
