The talented attacking midfielder has attracted interest from the Allianz Riviera team during the ongoing summer transfer window.
French Ligue 1 side OGC Nice have expressed interest in signing Ghanaian player Kudus Mohammed from Ajax Amsterdam this summer. According to French newspaper L’Équipe, OGC Nice are keeping a close eye on the 21-year-old, whose last season at Dutch champions Ajax Amsterdam was injured, for a possible acquisition.
Nice, which is without a sporting director following the sudden departure of Julien Fournier earlier this week, has identified midfield as an area in need of improvement. Kudus has now become a target of French Riviera club and could be sold for 12 million euros.
Before joining Ajax for €9m in 22, he was linked with moves to Rennes and Strasbourg. Mohammed has a contract until 225 but has seen his final season in the Netherlands hit hard by injury. He missed six games with an ankle injury before suffering a rib fracture that sidelined him for another 13 games.
As a result, he made just 16 appearances for the Eredivisie last season. Mohammed could move to France to follow in his Black Stars teammate Kamaldeen Sulemana, who plays at Stade Rennes
