Manchester United is expected to pay £65m release clause for Porto’s goalkeeper Diogo Costa.
From Portuguese outlet Correio da Manha, Costa will not be allowed to leave Porto in January and any move in the summer would involve United to pay the full €75m (£65m) to have the Portuguese goalkeeper.
The English side are understood to have Costa as a likely replacement for the Spanish goalkeeper, whose contract expires in the summer. The 23 year old played an important role in Portugal’s run to the World Cup quarter-finals, playing every minute of their five matches in Qatar.
