Liverpool has joined a long list of clubs interested in signing Manu Kone from Borussia Monchengladbach.
After an impressive debut season in the Bundesliga, Kone has piqued the interest of top clubs across Europe, including Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich, and Newcastle.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool is also ‘well informed’ about Kone’s situation, with a summer move more likely for a midfielder who has impressed in German football.
Jurgen Klopp wants to overhaul his midfield over the next two transfer windows, and the Reds are still linked with engine room additions.
According to Romano, Jude Bellingham is still the club’s top target, but alternatives are being considered if the England international declines a move to Anfield.
Real Madrid, Chelsea, and Manchester City are among the clubs interested in signing Bellingham next summer.
