Pat Jennings received a clean bill of health from medical professionals after experiencing a health scare prior to his former club, Tottenham, suffering a 4-1 defeat against Chelsea last night. The iconic former goalkeeper, now 78 years old, who graced the pitch for Tottenham in over 550 matches, fell ill before the intense match at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and was promptly admitted to the hospital for a series of tests.
Fortunately, all the test results came back negative, and Jennings was discharged just before midnight. This celebrated Northern Irishman, who earned 119 caps for his country, served as a stalwart for Tottenham from 1964 to 1977 before making a significant move to Arsenal.
